Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness month.

Throughout the month of May, has dedicated itself  to spread awareness about the importance of mental health.

According to the National Institute of Health, it is estimated that more than one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness which is roughly 58 million million people.

Most of us will experience challenges with mental health at some point  and it is important to know the small ways we can manage them.

As mental health and overall health are interconnected, here are 5 ways you can manage your stress to improve. your general well being and mental health:

  1.  Get enough sleep
  2. Exercise
  3. Eating healthy diet
  4. Connecting with Friends, family, loved ones, a partner, or support group 
  5.  Therapy

We  would like to express our compassion for those who struggle with mental health issues, and we have shared proven methods that can foster change in everyone’s life for the better.
